Fired on the mountain and Live a Little Fitness are teaming up to bring our community an Art and Yoga enrichment program where kids can create, move, play and develop life long coping skills! Register your Child

Description:

Learning the basics of hand-building: slab & coil work, pinch pot  

or throwing on a wheel.

$30 includes first 1 lbs of clay, glaze & firing (additional clay available $2/lb)

Prepay for month and get discount of $5 a class

After attending enough session you may come in and pay as open-studio guest.

Do both and you are only paying $20 a class

Materials: Watercolors (tubes or cakes), watercolor paper, variety of good quality watercolor brushes, palette, liquid masking fluid, H pencil, black fine tip sharpies, eraser, blue tape  Objectives: 1. Learn a variety of watercolor techniques. 2. Learn from and get inspired by important American watercolor artists like Winslow Homer, John Singer Sargent, Georgia O'Keeffe and Andrew Wyeth. 3. Learn how to develop watercolor paintings with layers including some white areas of paper left unpainted for highlights and light values. 4. Explore how to develop visual depth in the composition using linear perspective, overlapping and atmospheric perspective.
